‘Look for the signs’

The brief, in brief

The National Crime Agency needed a hard-hitting film for socials that raised awareness of modern slavery - a practice hidden in plain sight. Showing what goes on behind the scenes - and reminding everyday people of the role they play in modern slavery.

The key insight is that there are tell-tale clues everywhere - you just have to look out. I exaggerated these warning signs in my script as a literal ‘cry for help’, resulting in a highly emotive and compelling mood film.
